Chaotic Kite VS. Divine VS. Elysian

i currently have chaotic kite and think its amazing but what is all of your oppinions on these shields?

 

Only thing chaotic kite is good for is the rare staking of range/melee where shield is on. I mean it's not bad if your like a range tank pking, or something along those lines. I guess it's okay for some bossing, but ely/divine are loads better. I have chaotic kite and I hate it lol.

 

Divine>Ely>>CKS>DFS

CKS over all. It's free and unbelievably good. I'd rather not pay hundreds of $ in gp for a 'better' shield.

 

Divine is better than all but that shield is too expensive and I believe its a waste of money if you can get other for cheaper and even free.

 

my oppinion on this is why spend a shit load of irl cash for rsgp when it takes 1 week of botting to get this shield? hell i know its not as good as ely/divine but im going to be getting 99 ranging and its gana be a boss shield to solo arma with. i mean if i could change 1 thing it would of been getting rapier first, which in that case i woulda gotten cls instead cause i love bossing.

 

I do tons of GROUP bossing (I don't solo, and I rarely duo unless it's maybe Arma).

For this reason, I love the ely. If I were a solo person, I would love divine, but I'm not.

A person I used to do a ton of bossing with (the bastard stopped to skill ftl) used CKS, and he always either ran out of supplies before me, or at the same time as me while I used DFS.

With that, I see no advantage to CKS over a DFS (and DFS is only like 9M now in W2), and Ely obviously has an advantage over DFS.

Now if you want to say, oh but the price, the current price of Ely is like $160 irl. That does seem like a lot to spend on a shield, I guess, but if I had the extra cash to spend on RSGP, I would spend it on that in a heart beat.

Yeah, for PvP and solo/small group bossing. Elysian is the best for group bossing and general PvM like Slayer.

I don't know why people still make threads about this, it's been answered 10000 times.

Divine > ely > chaotics.

Anyone who slays with a spirit shield are extremely under educated about the game, being 100% honest.
You don't need survival capabilities when you slay, that's why you use a dragon defender.
If you bank in the middle of any slayer task without an ely. You need to train more.

 

lym whats the point of spirit shields if there so over priced to the point where you have to spend irl cash for them? the only good thing about a divine is it reduces the hit taken 14% of the time. and it drains prayer so thats one more thing you have to worry about.

I honestly dont have a strong input but ill throw in my two cents, a guy trick stacked me defender on and i had a dfs so i put on dfs he switched defender to CKS and i wrecked him in a box match.

Uhh, you need to get your facts straight.

Divine blocks 30% damage 100% of the time with a minor prayer drain, which doesn't effect much. You can easily replace a brew in your inv with a restore and you last 5x as long.

Elysian blocks 25% damage 70% of the time no prayer drain.

It's not over priced, if you know how to make money.

 

Its not bad unless you can afford divine, divines are just much more reliable cause it soaks all combat types unlike the chaotic shields

 

well maybe some people dont know how to make money like you and dont want to spend a rediculous amount of irl cash for pixels. cks is just as good for everything inless your looking for maxed def bonus which in that case you would have to have loads of cash.

Why would you say that, you contradicted yourself right after you said it's just as good.
