About the new music sections + adding sports.

I say take out the 'Instruction and Composition' and the 'Lyrics and Poetry' sections. Seriously, how many nerds sitting on their asses all day playing Warcraft and Runescape are going to successfully go out and make it big in the music business. Now I'm not saying that you guys can't go out and make music, but this isn't a damn studio, we don't need this stuff. If you need instructions how to make music, well, you're probably too young, or you've never listened to a damn piece of music before. Keep the 'Your Music' for any type of poem, song, instrumental, etc. Sythe members have created, and keep the 'Tunes Analysis' for the professionals in the business, and us to talk about them.

Um... Get a fucking sports section too, Sythe. Yes, this is a cheating forum, but really, I know a lot of members who do sports, (if they aren't able to *cough*obesity*cough*) are just fans of sports, or hell, even both! Please, just put it up and see how it turns out.

Get your damn heads out of your asses and think about what you're doing here (not aimed at any particular person). I love you all.

 

Yeah I was surprised at the tunes section but I guess if Ryan said there were enough supports, and sports are seasonal man. Like right now or a couple of weeks ago there would be a lot of threads then summertime it would die. Maybe promote Tgump's idea and make a Health & Lifestyle sub-forum.

Oh, and if you think "you don't need to become famous to enjoy sport", well the same goes for music.

They (whoever decided all the music sections) put it up like this is a damn music learning center, or even a music forum for that matter. And where the hell did you get these guys becoming successful and famous by playing sports, I mentioned nothing about it. Yes, I will admit, I see tons of people on here who have no life at all, besides the internet. And I do think with a sports section here, it will maybe get them up and going once in a while. Also, I don't get the "you don't need to become famous to enjoy sport" part. Who said this..? You're saying stuff that you maybe think I would see in the same way, which I obviously don't. Sports and music are 2 very different things. Sports, any type of fitness, being active, etc. is something everyone should do in their life, at least an hour a day. But then again, I didn't say just because there is a sports section here that the people had to go out and partake in that sport or activity. When it comes to music, that is a hobby to thousands and thousands of people worldwide. If you don't want to be a musician, you don't have to. I don't really know where you are coming from saying the whole 'famous and successful' thing, but I really wasn't aiming towards that at all. 1 more thing; sports do happen year round... you need to do some researching. Basketball (NBA), Football (NFL) and Baseball (MLB) are 3 different sports that you can watch year round, I'm not sure if you live over seas though, that you can say the same. Even if you aren't, for example, a basketball fan, it still is a sport going on some part of the year. That's just 3 too, there are dozens and dozens more.

And yes I agree with the sports section.

 

People can write music and not want to become a professional. They might write because it's what helps them calm down, they might write because that's what they love doing...Who cares why they do it, the fact is there was enough support of people that do it to make a forum out of it.
