Sort out scammers on sythe easy way:

Recently sythe has been overrun by scammers most of them have come from other forums here to scamm everything SYTHE.ORG seem to do doesn't work, so which is why i am going to start focusing my efforts on getting SYTHE SCAMM FREE...!

Suggestion1:

The staff idea:

All staff(apart from mm's) should mm trades over 150usd if asked... The staff will get a 10%..
mms take care of all trades under 150usd and expand as you get more mm's
And make saying: I dont trust mm's and offence lol! that will educe most scamms on sythe...

Auto IP checker:

On some forums they have a stopper to stop you from making more than 1 account. This Means you only got one chance on sythe and if you blow it you have to wait for 12 months for the ip checker to reset again... This will dramatically reduce scammers.

rofl this is nothing to do with the scammer topics but i think we should get a sythe radio/playlist... you get to choose a song if you have more than 10+ posts... THAT WOULD ROCK..

 

#1 Mods do not have to MM plus mods have to go through mming proccess to become official just like others.

#2 We IP ban scammers, but all they have to do is change their ip and they are back in here.

Best thing to do is always use a MM. We can not entirely stop scammers but you can use common sense to know that someone saying "i dunt trust mm dey scam meh" you would know better. We do our best to catch people attempting to scam and banning people that have already scammed.

 

yeah like i said in previous posts there's unlimited amount of proxies so many that it'd be almost impossible to block all of them. Besides there's just too little mods to accomplish something so big, and it is a time waster, there will always be other ways to access sythe even mods delete proxy's ways which will litereally be impossible already, as more are being created everyday, and it'll be hard identifying all of them.

Sythe has always had scammers. Nothing new has happened.

 

Compulsory MMing? Just a dumb idea. They volunteered to do work when it was seen to, but they aren't forced to do it, regardless of guidelines. IP checkers? A good idea, sure, if one's already programmed.
