    "Pm me!"

I suggest, that when a OMM pm's people, they are are required to pm them with their msn address.

I asked Giddy (fake one) to me pm.
The fake Giddy was on another msn, and asked Giddy to pm "him" about a OMM. "him" = me.
He gave Giddy my name to pm, and giddy pm'd me. Luckily Giddy put his msn in the pm. Good man, thanks.

I would have caught the msn address, but this was just a time saver.

NO THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT ABOUT GIDDY, HE DID A GOOD JOB.

    Here is why:

This happened with Delphie and FireZ, and Dephie was scammed out of 110m, which FireZ replaced. Adding your msn into the personal message certainly does take care of this issue. I'll await some more staff members decisions and see if we can somewhat make all of the OMM's and Staff members do this.

I think it would be to difficult to get all members to do this though, just OMMs and Staff members like you and I said.

I would have thought they would be doing that anyway. If making it a necessary when trading and it prevents scams then there is no reason why it should not be made official.

Agree. I'm already doing this. Someone tried to do this to me, but luckily I also posted my MSN in that PM, so no one was scammed.

Support. This happened to me way back in March and I was very bitter about it.

Could have been stopped if something like this was implemented.

    "Pm me!"

While this would not hurt, it is already skirted by the fact that people should check over the posted MSN's of these individuals carefully before interacting with them, as well as any time a deal is brokered in general. A little extra research into a trade can go a super long way in making sure that you don't get scammed (at least by an imposter).

All of that being said, I see no reason why this idea should not be implemented, if it can aid our newer members while providing a standard boilerplate email for our highly trusted individuals to streamline communication.

I ALWAYS look at who I am chatting with and double-check everything before completing or going further in a trade. But that is good Giddy is always professional in his own way. Also I always keep my ID private until I am interested in a trade and have less worry that scammers will try to target me. But this option isnt possible for sellers I would say so that sucks.

    Support though.

    "Pm me!"

Yea, I always look at the msn's as well.
But, I only care if it's required for staff/OMM's
As not many people use MM's here, other than highly trusted/omm/staff.

Best suggestion I've seen in a while.. Shouldn't even be limited to just OMM's and Staff in my opinion. Love that giddy does this.

Honestly if an omm doesn't do this almost every time then they are not doing their jobs correctly.

Agreed. If it's not already known amongst the OMMs that they should include their contact information in any PMs requested, then make sure it's relayed to them. This seems like a common sense sort of thing to me.

Good, that is what I do when people require a pm.
I either post my msn address in it, or put the part of the convo where they are asking me to pm them.

I've started getting into the habit of doing this, before I was quite careless.

@OT- I believe it's being discussed in the SL; I think it's important we make a thread with a copy-paste form that all OMM's and Staff have to use when MMing other members concerning trades.
