    Testimonials are another word for vouching.

    This is unfair that a moderator is allowed to break the GFX rule and I think a change should be made so that NO ONE in the GFX section is allowed to do this, including moderators.

    I think, as Giverny has suggested, to suggest a change in moderation. I myself have seen a lot of this. The thread clearly states that anything resembling vouches are not allowed. I have been posting and requesting something done about the GFX section but I haven't heard heads nor tails of the situation. I have seen so many things go to hell in the section, the feedback has been left alone and only the market section is being actively moderated because of his personal shop. This is just my personal opinion, but maybe now that more than just I am saying these things something will be done.

    Maybe he wanted a synonym for references and he got testimonials. Finn clearly said he wasn't vouching for him so I don't see what the problem is.

    So lets say a personal friend drops by and leaves a testimonial for the market? Or a recommendation?
    I honestly don't mind the specific example, but the staff response to this thread is cloudy at best.
