    a question about an account i just purchased.
    Im not looking to get anyone banned, im looking to see what my options are, i just purchased an account from Away, less than an hour ago. I was staking on the account, only person i have traded was away. In the middle of a stake the account was banned for RWTing. I had 140m on the account from winning at the duel arena and i just paid 250m for the account. What can i do about this?

    Well if you have proof the gold was on the account, then you should get a refund as nowhere in away tos does it state anything about not taking responsibility for bans:

    If you recorded it for you recorded it till stage were it got banned you get a refund if not it hard to prove anything, as I could log on anyone account say I had 5bil on it and it got banned

    Sadly this is bad position as @Away did nothing wrong

    but saying this, this is rare case that doesn't often happen

    i wasnt saying away did anything wrong, was just looking to see what options i had, as i just purchased the account and then in mid stake was banned.

    I would suggest asking Away to try and get the account unbanned for you. He could just tweet jagex or w.e the process is, and say that the account was hacked.

    I'm not sure how easy this is but I've heard many others getting their accounts unbanned by tweeting jagex and claiming false bans/hackers etc.

    Not much you can do here i'm afraid... There have been a few cases of rwt ban soon after purchasing accounts lately, and they don't side on the buyer usually.

    If purchased on Sythe, Sythe TOS > @Away 's TOS, so make sure you give that a once over.

    I would definitely contact @Away though, gl.

    Hey,

    If they think your ip has to make with it, Away can simply appeal the ban, and the ban will get squashed, i've had this with botting

    It was a rental account, (OP purchased the account after he finished staking on it), bans are pretty common so its just bad luck on your part.
    I'm not the OO which you know, so if you want anyone to do anything you know who to contact

    I’d say op had acknowledgment of the potential risks as he himself had rented the account prior to purchasing. If away had rented it and not informed the buyer would be a different story.
