I would like to see temp bans on any advertising where the invitee benefits in any way.

It's common sense that you should not be posting spam threads all over the forum trying to get people to sign up so you can profit off of them. It's very disrespectful to everyone and it wastes my time for reporting them the staff's time for taking care of them.

I don't think a temp is necessary. It wouldn't really stop people from doing it; most of them just don't know it isn't allowed in the first place, and they usually stop after receiving an infraction. You don't have to report them if you find it a waste of time.

Wasn't there a sticky in the old dispute forum layout that said "I didn't know! doesn't cut it"?

It's their responsibility to read the rules. I see a ton of new comers just here to post invites to "lockerz."

The sticky is still there, but there's no point in creating harsher punishments if it's not going to change how people act.
