    Botany, and my adventure.

Right now I am in a crisis, i have to narrow it down to two selections of what flowers i want to order. So tell me which ones out of this list! http://sythe.org/showpost.php?p=4818988&postcount=15

Also, if you would like to donate to my growing fund, then let me know! All donations are greatly appreciated, no matter the size. ^.^

Well so far everything is going good. I originally started a thread to see if anyone had actually done anything like this or if i was just the strange kid around here :p.

I first started around two weeks ago, as i wanted to finally get around to growing stuff (ferns, exotic stuff, etc). Right now i have some "sensitive plants"growing. They have finally sprouted!

I also have some venus fly traps planted, but they are being slow. I got them in a seperate shipment, because they had to harvest them at the store i got em at still. Each time somethign new happens, i will be updating this thread. So enough of the jibber jabber, and onto the pictures!

The seeds i have recently ordered!
    Black Bat Plant
    Cherry Red Rudbeckic
    Sweet William 'Sooty'
    Black Viola
    Bonnet Bellflower
    Viola Black Prince Pansy
    Columbine 'Magpie'

The soil im using : [IMG]

    The seeds(fern) : [IMG]

    Progress! :

    IT HAS A HAND! :

Comments and questions are welcome, like always!

Woo! They sprouted! How long did it take for them to start sprouting? Also, can't wait to see the Venus Fly Traps. =D

Dang, I didnt mark that down on my calender actually. But i probably planted them about a week ago.

I have to make sure they still live though, seeing how when i transplanted them from the cup to the box, i think i ripped part of the roots off :S

    Hopefully they will prevail!

As long as there is still a majority of the roots I'm fairly sure the roots will just grow back and it won't harm the plant all that much. Good luck! :)

Its pretty good. Its nice and fluffy, so it should be alright to grow in. It also aborbs some of the water i put in..so if i forget to water them for a day they will still be fine! Which is why i got it, to be honest. It also is promised to help feed the plants, so thats always a plus.

    Edit/
    What do you grow?

Yeah, they will. I just don't wanna kill em :p

I am growing yellow roses but they do not like me so they turned brown. I still water them just in case. They are almost giant, and I got it an week ago. I will take an picture later.

    Oh cool.

Can you show us a picture of what it should eventually grow in to?

haha, i like to keep it legal. Parents are already suspicious enough, as im not the person to just up and order seeds to grow on my window sill.. :p

I am more than willing to share logs, and help thy billy out ^.^

The Columbine var 'Magpie' and Penny Blacks are very attractive, and if you grow some together, I'm sure they would compliment each other greatly.

Good luck with your gardening trek.

That would be pretty nifty! I will be getting around 30-40 seeds per pack, on each of the flowers i want. I know for sure im ordering some of the bat plants, as i am in love with them..only downside is that they only come with 8 seeds in a pack! and for 4$..oh well, rarity is scarcity.

I think what you're doing is really cool. I don't have much left in my Paypal, but I want to give you my useless $1.05. I know it won't really help you, but if I get more, I'll be sure to donate again.

You seem very dedicated, which makes me admire you with the utmost respect.
