Too old for RS?

Ever since my account got locked ive been wondering if i should restart.. I started the game when i around 11 years old, im 17 now turning 18 in july. I almost feel like im to old to play the game even though i enjoy playing. Like only 3 of my friends my age still play and im just was wondering if you guys feel like there is a age that is to old play RS.

 

There probably isn't golden age for games.
You just give it a shot, if you don't like it, you won't play it.

 

Nah, you're definitely not too old! If you're doing something that you enjoy doing, why should your age stop you from doing it?

 

Age shouldn't make a difference, its a game just like any other. Whats the big difference between CoD and RS? Why are people that play RS nerds, and CoD players normal?

You are never too old to play games. I have friends playing between their age ranging from 15 to 45.

 

I think my 1st real friend in Runescape was around 64 when i first started.
I started playing when i was 15 and that was at Runescape starting years.

 

You're never too old to play RuneScape.

Plus judging by your grammatical errors, I think RuneScape suits you.

Haha, nah you can't be too old for RS. It's actually probably the most advanced game, WoW only rised when RS didn't have free trade. Now WoW itself is dying .

 

I'm 19 and I do pk from time to time. However, it's only because I'm keeping my account p2p while waiting for RSGP to hit a decent price on the market.

 

Pretty much this. I guess children (I know I did) have some kind of misconception that being an adult is all about going to work every day and watching the news when you get home, and nothing else. Then you grow up and realize that being older doesn't really feel all that different. (from your late teens at least)

Also, you could say Generation X were the pioneers to video gaming. They are now in their 30s and 40s. Generation Y is when video gaming really became mainstream (PS1/N64 era) and they are now in their 20s and early 30s. So it's really not surprising to find older players online. Yes, older players have less time on their hands, but that doesn't mean they have no time at all... not even close.

 

If you enjoy it, you shouldn't let the stigma associated with the game get to you.

Quitting Runescape's never a bad idea (if you wanted my honest opinion, I'd say you should forget about that game and make better use of your time). But like I said, if you aren't bored of the game and actually enjoy playing it, by all means do it.

If you have important stuff that ur always doing irl, i wouldn't suggest getting back into rs, but if u wanna just kill sometime having some fun, go ahead

think of it this way, the people who designed this game where in there 20s-30s, so if any kid tells you, your to old for it, tell him this game was made by adults, so i'd like to see you make one

 

In a runefest video I saw this 70-80yr old asked a question so no you're not to old to play rs.

 

You simply can't put an age limit on a video game, My closest runescape friend was a 47 year old mom.

 

Runescape is a game that appeals to all ages. If you enjoy playing a game don't let others convince you that you shouldn't be playing it. If you have fun doing something why stop?
