Getting better at C4D :)

Well I made a free shop over on another forum and I've been making around 5 C4D sigs a day which really helps. This guy wanted angry birds and red theme.

Obviously I still need to improve A LOT, but I wanted to share my progress.

I also have a question: I wanted to make like the front of the text also have that woody like texture on it using my material, but it wouldn't let me? How do I do this?

Also one more question: Anyone know where to get cheap tablets for GFX you know like with the pen and stuff, that are also good? I only wanna spend $50 or less

 

Well for $50 you're going to get a cheap piece of crap that is going to tear up in a month. For around $100 you can get a Wacom (Best tablets out there) bamboo. It will last you a long time and it is awesome.

To get the texture of the front you have to click the little texture box and change the Mapping to Frontal.

I know. That was a question on the side. Obviously I know when to use a tablet lol. But thank you

 

I'm not going to answer either of your questions as personally I do not use C4D and neither do I like graphics tablets

How did you get it without the background?

 

I set it to screen, then I took about 5 minutes carefully erasing around it with a 40(ish) pix soft eraser brush.
