Runescape changed you?

Has runescape changed your life????

its the only reason i come on the computer tbh..... without it i'd be on comp like 2 hours a day.....

i try quit but its impossible i come back a week later :/

It helped me do math in my head faster.

I guess its a good change.

 

its got a grip on me.. everytime I quit, no matter what I will come back to playing it eventually

 

It helped me learn to read before everyone else, makes me stay on the computer 24/7, made me learn java, made me a troll

My typing skills went from shit to over 9000 after a few months of spamming @ old school falador park for items [The place to be before GE] , i also saved a load of cash due to not going out all the time as i had something to do at home, it also made me fail my first year of electrical tafe due to jigging it to play. I also learnt that all girls in an online game are men until proven otherwise, how to look out for phishers, never to trust someone over the internets... the list goes on.

 

Increased typing skills plus without it I'd be bored for half my summer :|

 

I think it's taught me a lot. Typing, proper grammar and spelling, math, economics, plus everything I've learned in Sythe's SFA section.

 

Yup, now when kids ask me in real life if I'm mad I can say cool story bro!

 

Helped me type quicker.
Made me more interested in the internet.
Met a ton of awesome people through the game.
Given me something to do.

 

I learned never to let someone 'try on' your santa.
That was back when they were only like 15m though.

I also learned to type and I learned how to tell the difference between a girl and a guy who is trying to act like a girl online.

It definitely improved my typing speed, my general knowledge of simple things you learn whilst playing (eg. mining, the ores and such). It also taught me that you can be extremely addicted to a game, but I've learned to limit my time, which eventually led to me leaving the game. I've never looked back (although at the moment I plan to start botting, just to get a bit of money).

 

I've had runescape in my life for a long time.. I'd say it has changed me. If it wasn't for runescape, I wouldn't know a lot of the things I know now, I would not be as street smart and I wouldn't be able to perform simple calculations as fast :love:

I played it a lot when I was 16. Played intensively for about 2 years. But when I needed to finish school, started studying at university I totally forgot the game. Now i only bot to sell coins for cash and sometimes go to duel arena to gamble a little and remember good days of staking

 

same, and also, rs pk vids (classics), changed my music style, cause i used to be a part chav, listening to rap music all the time, now i listen to rap/rock/metal and all sorts tbh >_<

 

I definately has me on the computer more than i shud be on.
