Need help with dazzle capture card

I have recently bourt a dazzle capture card i have watched a few vidios on how to use. But when im on windows movie maker there is no option to capture like there is in the vidios does any one know how to solve my problem.

 

Didn't it come with it's own software?

 

It should have came with a disc called Pinnacle Studio or something like that.

Did you buy it off of eBay or something?

 

I got a disc with but no pinnacle studio...... im trying to download off of a website and see if that helps ......

 

If you got a disc with it put it into your computer and see what pops up.

 

If you need a code to register, (you need this to use Pinnacle Studio) i can sell you one. I have a dazzle and don't use it, so ill sell you the code.

ok i have run in to a new problem I am now able to get picture on the software that comes with it called Pinnacle Instant DVD Recorder but i loose it when i click on the record button the screen just goes black also i can not stop the recording which i should be able to do and once it has fineshed recirdung nothing it just freazes (it freazes as soon as i press record other then countdown) does anyone have any advice on how to use this program?

 

What operating system are you using? I have personally never had this problem.

 

have you tried uninstalling the program and reinstalling and also updating on the offical pinnacle website, i havent had this problem but ive had others and this usually works
