Okay, well my computer really runs fine but everytime i go to shutdown my computer it sais that ccApp is not responding and it has to like end the task. Can i just exclude that from windows startup or is it required? im a computer noob:rolleyes: I have a dimension 3000 windows xp just incase you needed to know that. Thanks for any1 who can help!

well ccApp must be one of your processes used for one of your programs. Its hard to say what its for but im pretty sure it isent a windows process.

Go to task manager then processes and find ccApp.exe and click end task. See if one of your programs shutdown if you see a a program that you dont need shutdown then you should uninstall it.

If you see no diffrence go to Start | Run | msconfig | startup | and uncheck ccApp.

ccApp.exe is the Norton Anti-Virus process.

I suggest you uninstall it and download AVG.

Don't listen to anyone who tells you to uninstall shareware for freeware that serves the same purpose.

It is for Norton though, and it's normal. Just end task everytime, nothing will happen.
