Before you guys tell me to go to a doctor, I'd like to state that I actually have very good hearing.

This was the case ever since I was very young. Unless the person spoke in a very formal, clear and understandable accent, I had trouble understanding what they were saying. So, I always end up asking people to repeat their words.

Any slight interference, such as radio noise on the phone, the noise of me drinking/eating something and other distractions of such are enough to prevent me from understanding clearly.

Once again, I'd like to say that my hearing is very good. It's just the words that I have trouble comprehending.

    what could be the problem?

Who told you that you have very good hearing?
You? Or have you actually had your hearing tested?

I can hear things that most people can't.
I can hear all the frequencies that a normal teenager should be able to hear :/

never really got tested though, but I AM thinking of going to a doctor.

Hearing things that other people can't may be a sign that you've lost some of you hearing, you may be hearing sounds that aren't actually there.
I'd say a doctor would be able to give you the best advice here.

No, I'm not saying that I could hear the bushes shouting and cursing at me lmao

I'm talking about real tangible entities doing something. For example, a carboard box drop.

Yeh I didn't say you could hear bushes screaming at you, that would be hallucinations not hearing problems.
But you can still imagine normal noises.

It's not as serious as described, but I think that you led me in the right direction.
It's something very similar to this, but it might be concentration oriented..?

    Thanks a lot though

It doesn't sound like its a problem with your hearing to me, it sounds like its something to do with your brains comprehension and digestion of the words that you hear. Almost like you hear somebody say something, and you soak in the sounds properly, but your brain has a hard time breaking down the meanings behind the words and the way the sentence was strung together.

I don't know of any specific disorder like this, but I would definitely go to a Doctor as it sounds like some kind of impairment to your cognitive processes.
