First off, great thread Svew, it's good to get a look into the bugging history.

One I remember that has not been mentioned here supposedly occurred when lending came out. *This was a theory, and I was not able to test it myself*

According to the theory, you could borrow any item from someone, and get the Miles/ Niles/ Giles random. Upon not giving him help, the random would force you to note every item in your inventory, including the lent item. It was said that the noted item was no longer recognized as lent, and the player kept the item.

Any info on this?

 

There is no ID for a noted lent item thus not possible to note the item.

theres a glitch out there where u can abuse a target kill and get like 50 kills and hella loot no idea how to do it probably will tomarrow if i do ill post it after i abuse it a lil

 

how do you know there is no ID for a noted lent item ? and how would you find out an ID for an item ? just trying to learn , thanks.

 

I'm guessing by deobfuscating the runescape client .jar

What about the infinite prayer which was leaked all over ezud which consisted of you being on the last step of the slug menace? why didn't you mention that one!

You know where you were on the last cutscene of the quest and you were doing some spinning emote and you spam clicked and it would let you move in the cutscene and you were invisible but could move on the minimap and when you moved away far enough in the one room you could see yourself then teleport to the void island then tab to your house then go to building mode then exit and you have infinite prayer and invisible overheads?

about that..oh shi-? did i leak.

 

Man I remember a lot of those but there are a few that are new to me. If only I would have been there for some of those I would be rich instantly! Hahaha thanks for this though! ^_^

Also it was not "leaked all over ezud" nor was it discovered by anyone on ezud...

 

such a sweet story for people who werent around then, and brings back memories for those who were.

 

Cool thread. I used to love bug abusing back in the day (and u didnt mention my name in some glitches that i was part of =D). Btw, was roboreapper banned? I remember doing some glitches and hanging out with him and champ.

 

Robo and Champ's main accounts were both banned and I think Robo quit for good. Do you go by any other names?

 

The dupe in rsc was epic, purple used to be the most expensive. (pink)

My personal favorite was the µ Crash Bug, highly amusing. I wish I knew about it.

 

The pvp potential bug was 1st discovered by i_vegatakid_i and dakilla09 from a clan called the crew[closed] they abused it for not even a few hours before leaking it, i personaly did it and made over 150m within 3 hours, and evaded ban :laugh:
