A Good Way To Level Herblore.

i just did this method
it owns lol

you can do with other herbs as well

Hey there,

I don't know if this is well known or not but i think this is a good way to level herblore.
To clean rannars is pretty good exp, and also you make money now.
Only a tiny bit but buying like 1.7m worth of grimy rannars, cleaning, then selling you make a couple'a k.

Works well for me :D
thanks for the tip really helped!

Yeah i know what all you guys are saying but as i said in my posts it is not good profit and is not good exp but its ok if u low herb lvl.

hmmm well im guessing there are much better ways but if it works for you then go for it =]

I've been using that method from lvl 1...
First i bought 1k guams and cleaned them,
Than i was buying herbs for higher lvl.....
Even if i lose some money by doing it, it's still fast... you can clean inventory in like 1min or les..

Yeah alot less, i managed 12 seconds i think it was, Just fast clicking

But it only really works with ranarrs that you make profit.

Guides already been made somewhere else. Here it is.
Which I got from HeavyGaming.org(links in sig)

And sorry Skilla, I just thought people would want to know it a little bit more in depth.

As many of us probably know by now herblore is a losing money skill. But there's a small chance you can make a small amount of money doing herblore. This has been tested but not formally looked at by me. By formally looked at, I didn't look at everything I just did one item. This might be just common sense for some but for others maybe it's a bust? You never know.

Now here's the method:
  1. Buy Grimy herbs for below mid.
  2. Clean
  3. Re-sell for above mid.

This might seem to some ludacris, and just a waste of time, but look at the math?

Grimy cadantine 1,136
2386_obj_sprite.gif
Clean cadantine 1,256
That's an 80k profit for probably about an hours work. Not that good but let's look at the rest.

Dwarf Weed
2386_obj_sprite.gif
Grimy dwarf weed 2,963
2386_obj_sprite.gif
Clean dwarf weed 3,328
A solid 300k per hour profit at the very least.

Irit
2386_obj_sprite.gif
Grimy irit 1,289
2386_obj_sprite.gif
Clean irit 1,320
40k an hour is bad, but it's herblore exp.

Lantadyme
2386_obj_sprite.gif
Grimy lantadyme 1,265
2386_obj_sprite.gif
Clean lantadyme 1,337
70k+ an hour.
P.S.
I lol'd at the price of the Lantadyme ;)

Snapdragon
2386_obj_sprite.gif
Grimy snapdragon 6,849
2386_obj_sprite.gif
Clean snapdragon 6,928
80k+ an hour.

By now it's getting pretty obvious that by buying for less than mid and selling the clean herbs for higher than mid, you get a lot more profit. And also it's just a guess that you can clean 1k. It takes one click for 1 herb, and takes about a second, but for the math let's just say you can clean one every 2 seconds.
60(mins in an hour.) * 60(seconds in a minute) = 3600(seconds in an hour)
3600(seconds in an hour) / 2(seconds for every herb) = 1800(herbs clicked every hour)
If I'm not mistaken that just about doubles all the values (approximate profits of cleaning herbs). 600k an hour from cleaning Dwarf Weed and getting the exp for it doesn't sound too bad for me. But of course you could also use an auto for this cleaning an herb every second making your total profit up to 1.2m an hour by cleaning Dwarf Weed. Or do it yourself, no matter. But remember not to buy the Grimy for above mid. Because if you do, this'll increase the price of the Grimy which will in the long run take away profit. I have another idea to this herblore skill and I'll post when I can.

Please tho, no people claiming they knew this and that they've been making money with this for months or blah blah blah. Why? Because if you knew this why did you not share? Some have "all bark no bite", so to speak.
