Nice tracks you got there. I think the drums could be a little louder but overall I like it! I play drums and guitar to and as mentioned above it would be fun to do a collab with someone.

 

Unfortunately, since I'm not a drummer I've had to settle for using an online drum machine (recorded through an iPad mic). So for the time being (at least until I can find a good drummer) the intensity is going to be a little low, as well as the rhythm dynamic

 

few high tones that hurt my ears ( using headphone) , but in total , really good start ! very good basic skills

 

Sorry about that lol. Unfortunately I'm stuck recording everything through an iPad mic, at least until I've saved up enough to buy some decent recording equipment (soon I hope)!

I have only listened to the first but can say I am impressed.
The heavy and 'busy' bass is deffinently what caught my attention. It is a very underrated instrument that should be put to use like this more often.
Song is very short for its genre, you definitely need to make songs with the minimum length of five minutes.
I am not a fan of the first seven seconds, however I think you were going for a live-ish, that succeeded.


My two cents.

 

Oh yeah, believe me these are all just very rough demos. For the moment that's pretty much all I'm making so that I can have a sizeable number of ideas to work with when I'm ready to make them into full length songs.
Also, I completely agree with you on the bass. It adds a totally different dimension to a song.
And yeah the little thing in the beginning doesn't really flow to well with the rest of song. But recording with the iPad sucks and I couldn't move the tracks back from where I started recording without messing up their unison. I didn't want there to be a 7 second silence so I just added those random chords.
