My first sig attempt ever

I started on photoshop yesterday so here's what i'v made so far.

Not bad at all for a first signature but as you progress try to do more then brush strokes.

Not bad mate, on the second one you should try make it so you can read the text a little better. Keep at it you will soon master Photoshop, i'd love to see your future work mate.

Thanks! Just made a new one but at this point instead of selling the gfx I would just give it for free

 

Nice job mate, but I'd suggest using a different font.

 

Definitely try out with some different fonts, don't limit yourself to one that might not fit so well with different types of effects. Bring out those effects more, and add another dimension of detail to it (give it a solid background or put some textures above the text layer and set to multiply or darken etc.). Good start for your first, now make as many as you can to learn everything

 

Yeh I defo use more fonts' my new one being in my current sig. I'm doing free gfx for anybody who wants it and gfx just on my own whenever so i'm certanly doing as much as I can . Thank's for the advice! when you say put some textures above the text layor what do you mean? Also, I don't do sigs without transparent backgrounds I just dont like how they look when I don't use transparent background. Thanks for the advice though!

 

Did you make those wings yourself? If so: try to perfect your drawings, they can turn out amazing and be incredibly efficient to create great signatures.
Nonetheless; I can definitely see that you're a beginner.. it is very messy, so try to work around that.. also make sure it looks smooth to the eye.. use soft colours!

It's quite clearly a render - you can tell where it's been cut off from the background.
