For the record I don't personally take steroids, as I believe it to be a beyond selfish act that isn't worth the cost. But in regards to dosage and what specific type of steroid to take I HIGHLY SUGGEST you speak to your family doctor first. Yes they might not agree with you or the act BUT it is their job to look after your health regardless of your choices.

Once you've spoken to your doctor then go and find the sub-reddit for steroids, there should be good information there.

For the record, there are a lot of health consequences involved with any form of steroid that multiplies as the dosage is higher. The other issue with steroids is it's very addictive. You're going to feel better then you ever have, and once you're off cycle you're going to feel depressed because of the 'high' you got with steroids (in other words you'll never feel okay being normal again because you feel much better while being on-cycle).

Overall I cannot recommend it. Naturally you can reach a very aesthetic and big physique by a healthy state-of-mind standard and through a body dysmorphic standard you'll always feel "too small". Also if you're partially doing this to more sexually attractive then well you should know the MAJORITY of women prefer a man who DOESN'T look like a bodybuilder (yes there are those who prefer the bodybuilder look but they make up a very small minority of women).

In the end do your homework, and triple check it. When it comes to your body and health you cannot afford to take chances.

    Just my two cents.

You are the group of people that shit talk anabolics and just say what you hear on the internet by other people who don't know shit on the matter...

You are the people that give it a bad name, take it yourself and then see the so called "health consequences"

    Idiot.

Actually I'm an athlete who is currently in pre-med; and all that means for you is I do my unbiased research and hold my health in utmost importance. I could give you a very long list of possible side-effects that MAY or MAY NOT effect you if you were to take any form of anabolic steroid, but I'll try and sum it up to you so I don't lose your attention.

There are many different types of anabolic steroids and each has their own purpose among the bodybuilding community (not even going to touch HGH as that is another topic altogether). Each of these has their own set of possible side effects with some overlapping side effects as well.

It is not possible to take anabolic steroids without getting some form of side-effects (this is where you gamble and hope you get something manageable and doesn't affect your standard of living). The really bad issues come into play down the road and the longer you're on the substance in question (higher dosages significantly increases your risks as well).

In short you're trading for really good years now while sacrificing your later years in regards to your quality of life. Want an example?

Lets look at Arnold! He is a known steroid user from his bodybuilding days and to date I believe he has had over three heart surgeries (steroids over time enlarge your heart, among other possible heart-related side-effects) and the scary thing is compared to the dosage used by today's bodybuilders his was quite low; so imagine what's going to happen to today's steroid users in say ten to twenty five years!

Don't call me a hater or an idiot, I'm not attacking the guy I am simply giving him a truthful response; I personally would love to take steroids but I am aware of the related side effects that are very likely to occur and frankly that's not worth the cost in my opinion. I intend to live out my later years to the same degree I am living out the next few years. If you want to have a discussion about this then please bring a counter-argument that has credible knowledge rather than personal attacks.
