How to make 20m+ in 1-2 weeks GUARANTEED!

Hello!

I quit Runescape for some time and started it two weeks ago. I only had 40k cash, and I wanted to get more. After spending a few days on nonsensical things, I made my way to Karamja and from there to the Tzhaar city.


What to do there?
There you can kill the monsters that are level 133 and 149. They drop tokkul with amounts ranging from 100 to even 2k per kill, along with obsidian charms that can be used in summoning. What's also a nice bonus is the fact that they have a very low drop rate for obsidian items, meaning you can get several items a day!

Gear

That's my current gear and it's very good for this purpose. Before acquiring the uncut onyx my gear was similar, but without the tassets. Anything such as rune legs and plate is fine, really, as long as you're able to keep a steady pace on.

Why should you do this?

I killed them for a week and this was my result: 2700k tokkul and 5,5m in loot from obsidian items. What did I do with the 2700k tokkul? I bought an UNCUT ONYX! The trade price for the onyx is 15-16m and it goes for max on the Grand Exchange IMMEDIATELY! However, if you're looking for a bit more money and have plenty of junk, you can sell the precious gem for up to 80m! Its street price is currently anywhere between 50-100m and there is no reason why it should decrease anytime soon, seeing how the only way to get an onyx in the game is by getting 2700k tokkul.



How long will it take?

Obviously the time depends on the individual and the time spent playing daily. I myself calculated that the usual amount of tokkul ranges between 50-70k/hr with fairly decent stats using melee combat. If you wish to range them, expect a slight drop in the hourly tokkul rate. A basic estimate is 1-2 weeks.

How long did it take me and what levels did I gain?

From 0 tokkul to a whopping 2700k tokkul and plenty of obsidian items, it took me a total of 6 days! During this time I gained these levels:

90 attack -> 94 attack
90 constitution -> 92 constitution
75 defence -> 80 defence


That's most of my wealth right now, along with some junk in the bank. I made ALL THAT in just 17 days of playing with 40k to start to with. Around 22m of the total amount was made from Tzhaar, the rest from Barrows and clues.
What were some of the drops that you got?

I don't remember all of the drops, but here are the main ones:

- 15 obsidian capes (90k each)
- 183 onyx bolt tips (7-8k each)
- 5 obsidian mauls (90-100k each)
- 7 obsidian shields (200-220k each)
- uncut diamonds, emeralds, sapphires

But yeah, i agree, Green drags are way quicker, but then again, the xp at Tzhaar's is a lot more.

Exactly. And with the increased amount of cannons and people who are after the dragon bones, it's highly unlikely for one to get 20m from the bones by playing regulary. So to speak, one would have to "grind" the green dragons to actually achieve the goal of 20m.

 

Well clearly when you are killing drags at least you know that you making some money. Don't have to wait 2 weeks.

 

I agree with Bourne, that Green Dragons are so much easier and a lot more money in it, too.

However, it's a good idea but I just think there are better methods out there.

 

Imo i should do with tzhaars.. Green dragons are full of botters so It's hard also.. and tzhaars are fun

 

yup drags are always full even at night

 

chaos druides 24/7 gets u there in 3 days

 

TzHaars are usually less crowded so I'd go with that... You should use pictures to make the guide look more interesting. I've done this before and it's great XP.

Nice guide, not a bad method too although green dragons are often far too crowded but they still are a great money making method.

also, you should specify the exact tzhaar monsters you killed for that
and do something advanced, like putting some drop rates up there

 

sounds good, though I am that kind of player who cant sit there for 2 weeks.

Then again, I spend 4 hours a day at F.O.G getting phr33 mage for my pures...
