Jagex what are you thinking...

Allowing items dropped to show up to everybody at instant??

This is just going to cause so much frustration and will along with other changes (Summoning) come close to destroying hybrid pking.

Most pkers have friends who also pk, the PK community is often split into groups of people who will PK together. So if i am fighting somebody and their out of food, what will they do? They will get a friend underneath them and just drop the gear for the friend to instantly loot. I can't stand underneath them to try and level the chance of picking stuff up as if i do i can't be attacking the guy. Of course as well with me fighting somebody i am going to be paying a lot more attention on things other than the ground underneath the guy.

Even without friends, i remember very well from wilderness "watchers". Simply people who just wanted to watch fights happening often deeper wild with 0 items. But now if i have got somebody running there will be lots of these people there, but now spamming "Drop your stuff!" so they can pick it up on insant. Of course if i am killing this guy dropping his stuff would be a 100% way to spite me.

There are many other problems, not just effecting hyrbids but the entire community. JaGeX it does NOT give the pker a advantage, but more of an advantage to the person about to die or people in the nearby area. When pking in any style i cant be concentrating on the floor more than anything else.

For once i hope we could just stick to the current PvP system. Or at least stick with the elder one.

JaGeX, a simple saying.

"Dont fix what isn't broken"

Out of all the things broken in the current PvP system, dropping in combat isn't one of them. Why change it then to something which 99% will be a problem.

 

dw man this wont happen u cant drop anything over 1000gp while in combat in pvp/bh world as people used to do this...

 

I hope your' right dude, but what I heard is that you could drop "anything" immidiately.

It's not a big deal at all, items showing up instantly wouldn't be a huge advantage to either side, nor a disadvantage. If you're solo bridding against a group of friends you should probably get a group of friends. Numbers will always matter even in solo environments if you can drop anything, ever.

I don't mean to sound like a dick, but this isn't the place to look for answers. The actual RS forums would likely net you a valid response. This forum is full of people who are severely biased against jagex but are addicted to their games for whatever reason so the answers or justifications you get would be about as mindless as this post.

 

The major major problem is:

When you pk alone and some rich-item-wearing person is running away, he can drop one thing at a time (as he runs)

There would be a trail and when you kill him, you won't get much. If you stay behind you collect items, he will escape too! Going to be very funny watching level 3s following fights. Then there is other level 3s with fire-bolts duking it out and dropping rune sets in the middle of F2P clan wars LOL

 

lol if the only way you can kill someone is if they run out of fodo then ur bad

They only show instantly if you drop them.
Not if you pk someone.

Your grave will still show in non-wild zones..

This doesn't matter. It just prevents drop trading (In a way)
