Well, it looks that Runescape has taken it's good turn again. Finally I can enjoy myself by blowing away some time on pixels.

For those of you who don't know I used to be semi-active back in the day. My account got banned for "RWT" because I was transferring everything to one account come that terrible update in 2007.

Regardless, things are back, so what is new with the botting business. I right now am using RuneDev, should I not be?

    Fill me in etc.

I don't know much about that bot. The three main paid bots are ArbiBots, RSBots and RSBotting.

For combat perfect fighter is definitely the way to go, mining is kminer. As for other bots really you can get it from either three places and have it work perfectly.

So what are the ban rates on those? I know that back in the day (really, things have changed a lot so don't lose your patience too fast with me) we would be banned in a week or less, or never. How are they doing their bans now? Can they track better now?

I just don't want to pay $20 and get banned on some accounts, especially with the new updates on their way!

They now roll back botted accounts instead of banning them. (Well, some people, who botted too much, probably get banned)

You could use Nexus iBot or PowerBot client. A lot of good scripts (unfortunately paid ones) are made for nexus iBot, average good scripts are made for PowerBot.

Yeah, I am just hearing a lot of crap about PowerBot. I thought Nexus iBot and RsBot were dead though.

avoid powerbot -- easily get banned -- go with rsbotting or oembots which use the nexus bot as base.

Welcome back! It's nice to have old members come back! You must have a lotta questions about rs cheating. Runedev you should drop... It's o.k but powerboat and arbi bots are way better.

Nowadays For a paid bot most people use the nexus client, where you purchase auth codes. And then use them!

ArbiBots run on the powerbot client. I think this is why people are recommending the to you. Generally though most bots on powerbot are user scripted and end up resulting in a ban / rollback. If you use powerbot go to arbibots.com and download their version.

As for the banning question generally people who get cause are rolledback in various skills. If you use a paid bot from one of the three sites I listed and use the bot for under 8 hours a day you'll be fine.

people say powerbot has a high banrate because it uses bcel injection whereas nexus uses reflection -- i have been using nexus [perfecticus fighter] 20 hours a day for a couple weeks and have had no problems with it.

also i have no idea about runedev

So Nexus is it I suppose. Is it like they used to have it, with user created scripts and such?

There are alot of reseller sites, which offer packages of the client + a script. You may buy as many scripts as you want and add it to the bot client.

If you are looking to write your own scripts you can buy just simply the client and you will be able to add and write scripts yourself, not sure on the price - check rscheata.net
