    ServeByte VPS/WEB/Dedi Hosting Review/Recommendation

True Story: Recently I have purchased a rather cheap VPS from ServeByte.Com and was initially worried about my purchase. It was my first time buying/using a VPS or anything close to it and was a tad bit skeptical because of the low prices of the servers compared to others. I did a little bit of research on them and found the bare minimal on them, but what I did find was half decent reviews. Well after talking to myself I decided it would be worth a shot. So I spent a little bit on one of their Windows VPS's and instantly got sent all the information, I paid via paypal and everything went through wonderfully and with no problems and or additional fees. After checking my email I went to the link to my control panel which then I got to select between installing Windows XP or Windows 2003 Server. I decided to go with the 2003 server and clicked install, well within 5 minutes late it said Installation Sucessful. It took me to a main control panel there and presented me with a rather odd way of connecting to the server, had never heard of it before but they used TightVNC to connect. So I downloaded it and found that the TightVNC provided a pretty crappy connection to the VPS and decided I would try to setup Remote Desktop Connection. Well after failing to figure out how to port forward on a VPS since it was my first time, I went to the main website and posted a support ticket. Not knowing how long it would take I posted it and just left the computer for around 5 minutes. I sat back down in my computer chair and glanced at the screen to find my ticket had been answered. They provided the quickest support I had ever found. So I thought this may have just been a lucky timing, and ofcourse they did provide me with an excellent answer, one which was kind of pathetic of me not trying before posting a ticket. Later on I posted another ticket because I was having problems with to many remote desktop connections, and to my surprise they replied within a 10 minute time frame and stayed with me until the problem was fixed. Now for those who are to lazy to read and will post "tldr". Basically what I said above is that ServeByte provides and exceptionally cheap, but excellent quality VPS hosting. You have the option of a Linux/Windows OS and can switch instantly to another version (XP to 2003 and so on). Their support is superb. If your looking to host anything, I would definately recommend ServeByte. Check out their website, or even go straight to buying a VPS: ServeByte Hosting Solutions • ROCK Solid. Period. One thing though, I did post a referral link and yes this will benefit me and you. So please don't edit the link. It harms you in no way and can help me tremendously :).

Thought I would show off their download/upload speed which is fully accommodating for most hosting needs :). This is with a Windows VPS.
