Ritalin is one of the ones I know of.
But I'm sure if you went to see a doctor, he'd know better than I do what to put you on. I doubt you can just walk in and say "I want ADHD pills" and he'll give you them. You need to be diagnosed. If you already have, why didn't he prescribe you anything?

Actually it's pretty easy to get a doctor to prescribe a kid ADD/ADHD medication. Being "diagnosed" is as easy as saying you have a hard time paying attention in class. At least that has been my experience with the issue

I highly recommend Vyvanse. It's similar to Adderall, but lasts longer and there isn't a comedown. Took it for about 2 years. I took Ritalin and Daytrana patches also and they weren't as good.

Ritalin, Strattera, and Concerta are all medications I have been prescribed at one point. Concerta and Strattera made me not want to eat. They also made me tired all the time. Ritalin is expensive, unless you get generic which usually don't work for everyone. Don't go in and ask your doctor for any commonly abused adhd medication because they will try they're best to try everything else first. I'm on Aderall now but I only take it when I want to get high.

Yeah, it's called a hard workout. Run your legs off if you have to, it will make you feel tired, relaxed and less jumpy. I have ADHD and restless legs and I know for certain my lack of exercise is the main reason for most of my problems. Drugs are never the way to go, there's always some sort of side effect like becoming a complete emotionless zombie while you take them.
