99 Theiving Question

So I plan to get 99 thieving not by doing sorc garden, but by pickpocketing the master farmer in draynor starting at 38 theiving.


I have a couple questions:
#1. How often will he hit me?
#2. How much will he hit on me (12 def)?
#3. Should I have to use food?
#4. Estimated time to level 99 (hours)?

everytime you fail, which will be often especially at first

#2. How much will he hit on me if I have 12 def?
he does the same amount which I believe is 30 damage
#3. Do I have to use food?
Yes I'd suggest trout as they're cheap and easy to obtain mass quantities
#4. How long to level 99 in hours:
unsure have yet to do it but to get max profit I would first get the agility to thieve the max amount of times on it.

 

#1: There is no definite rate that he will hit you. It will obviously decrease as your Thieving level increases. Using Gloves of Silence (which require a certain Hunter level) will decrease the chance of him hitting you.

#2: No matter your defense level, he will always hit 30LP of damage when he catches you.

#3: Even I, at 99 Constitution, have to use food when thieving from Master Farmers. So yes.

#4: I knew someone who did it in 16 days.
