    Avoid Duel Arena Tax

Just throwing out some suggestions and thought and would love some feedback as well.

As a huge staking addict that 50-60% of my time i play runescape is spend in duel arena, im really bummed out about this tax, as im used to doing thousands of stakes that range from 100m-2b.
This tax will have a huge impact on how much you make/loss at the end of the day.

My suggestion is starting trusted mm services at the duel arena for larger bets.

Say 2 people want to do a stake session of 1b+ stakes, but dont want to be taxed 10m for ever stake. Well you go to the trusted mm and trade him the amount that both parties have agreed to stake. Once both of the amounts are given, the two parties will do a "free" stake against each. The mm will have a 2nd account that will be recording and watching to see who wins the stake. Then the winner will go back to the mm to claim reward. BOOM tax evaded.
Incase there is any controversy, there is a reason the mm will be recording the fights, so he can go back and provide evidence of winner.

I know it may seem like a bit of a headache/needs to be a very trusted mm. But it is one way to avoid this tax/going to corrupt betting website and a possibility of getting banned/scammed.

Do "very trusted" mm's require a fee for their service? I'd imagine a good majority of them do. For something like this it'd probably be a percentage of the GP safeguarded. Their payment would have to be less than the payment had you just staked it the normal way and paid the tax for it to be worth it. Also, I'd imagine this may raise some RWT flags and increased attention for your account with the number of bills trading hand so frequently...just my $0.02.

yeah that would be easily detected by jagex, especially at the higher amounts. youll just get banned.

also the MM fees would be higher than the tax itself most likely.

Well your not rwt any of that money so it shouldn’t be a problem. Just like back in the days when there were dicers at the ge. They would handle huge amounts of cash back and forth, but weren’t technically breaking any rules, no scamming/rwt was able to be proven. And also the mm service could be done for free but say once the session is done, a tip could be provided. A lot less headache than a tax, both parties are happy and I’m sure the winner would be glad to tip as much as they want/have to spare

"Back in the day....." except now is TODAY, where Jagex is VERY DIFFERENT compared to Jagex "back in the day". What you're suggesting is essentially RWT/avoiding game rules in their eyes and will get banned lol. Jagex is already so trigger-happy with banning people, i highly doubt creating your own little MM service to dodge game rules will go down well.

Not to mention if we were to compare prices to current trusted MM prices that start at minimum 5% of the trade amount i can imagine MM services won't be cheap as well. Not worth the risk and cost imo.

I completely understand where your coming from. Yes jagex has gotten more strict, and there is risk involved. But there are people out there that do mm services for free that don’t charge 5%, to help out the community, or build up vouches. I’d rather mm for people rather then them going to a sketchy, corrupt betting website thatll scam you or you’ll lose your money anyways.

Like I said I’m open for suggestions and just discussing. I don’t see myself doing this as you are right, jagex put in a tax for a reason and getting around this is technically breaking rules

I could honestly never see anyone doing this. Tax-evading to save 1% while going at risk for billions.

Or you can be reasonable and do the math that you have to win 100 stakes to lose your entry amount ONCE meaning 200b in stakes won = 2b loss 10b in 100m stakes to lose 100m, shut up and make more money L

Absolutely, if your only doing a couple stakes you won’t notice at all. But if you do bills constantly over a long period of time, that 1% will add up very quickly. Some people don’t realize how quickly stakes go by and add up.
as for you, I really don’t know how to reply because I don’t understand what I just read, English please.

You're really going to cry about taxing a little bit of coins which is good for the economy..

Of course this upsets me as it affects what I like doing. But I’m not crying, I’m trying to find a solution. I’m a fucking shark and with every update (good or bad) there’s always opurtunity. So you can sit back do your measly 10m steaks, where yeah, of course you won’t notice a 1% tax and keep sitting in your mothers basement judging people.
