Does QP determine DP?

I was wondering if quest points determined the drop potential in PvP or BH.

Does anyone know if it does?

 

No, my maxed out zerker gets shit ass drops and he's like 210 QP, although I think high total level or high summoning gets good drops because I have two mains and I ALWAYS get a 500k+ drop on both of them even with 0 ep.

Is there a source to prove this? I'm not in total disbelief, as I usually get better loot on my main, but I just want some concrete proof.

 

Total levels and quest point does not effect your drop potential.
Your combat level is one of the biggest factors that effect your drop potential. Case closed.

 

Totally wrong, ive got 136 combat acc, all skills at 40~, and getting good drops.

 

This is total bullshit. My account is 2k+ total and I've never had a drop better than 1.5m. Also 239 qp.

 

Let me tell you about my experiences.

I had a maxed summoning tank. Back when BH worlds first came out, I was getting crap loot on my main. So I decided to try going pking with my summoning tank on them. Beforehand all I did was pk on PvP worlds because I thought they were incredible. So I take my summoning tank out to BH worlds, first targ kill I get 2m loot. The most I'd gotten on my main was 300k.

However, as my tank leveled up and became a higher and higher combat level, the loot got worse and worse. Here is my theory.

If you have a low combat level and high total level, you get great drops.
If you have a low combat level and low total level, you get crap drops.

If you have a high combat level and a high total level, you get okay drops, not too good.
If you have a high combat level, risk over 5m, have died with 5m before, AND have a high total level, you get good drops.
If you have a high combat level and low total level, don't even try BH worlds.

 

Risking over 5M has nothing to do with it
Total level has nothing to do with it
Dieng with 5M before puts 5M death heat into your drop potential, that's why.
