99 range 99 mage 99 def 99hp, yet i fail.

So i have these awesome skills on this tank i have been working on for some time now..

but I have always failed at pvp...not sure what my deal is, but i suck if im not on f2p.

anyone have any tips on pking with a tank.

i also have 75 str 75 atk which i used to get defense and hp.

 

do u have veng?

 

actually no, i dont want to take the time to even bot mining to do the quest haha..

cuz i spend so much time botting for other people.

i guess that would be a major fail point, because most people use venge on me.

dont wear armor that is to strong as your 99 def it will be hard to hit you.


wear medium armor so when u veng for the k.o your opponent wont hit as many 0's as he would with high def armor. it annoying sometimes i have a tank same but 90 def and when i veng and want them to hit somethign decent and they hit 0

get turmoil that would help significantly

 

Turmoil doesn't effect range or magic levels, and raising defense would make Veng even more useless.

 

true that it might be nice until venge is casted?

 

Veng = Range tanks best KO tool, a bolt will almost never ko.
Also hand cannon, it's known as the rangers godsword, high, medium speed, and has an amazing potential to KO even at full health with the special and vengeance

 

also work out what type of opponents you are fighting, and dont forget the combat triangle

 

Use hand cannon + void & rush.

 

umm i'd say get use void + handcannon OR get veng and time the casts just right and youll be golden.

range tanks are epic if you do them right, but don't wear anything above rune (if someone walks up to you and sees you have a d skirt or barrows item on they wont want to fight) youll get in a lot more fights with people with low def and youll destroy

 

When voiding with 99 def its really nice when venging. Just my opinion. Also if you get ur str up you could use claws + veng + hand cannon, beast trio combo i can say.

 

Brid it up if you're too lazy to get veng. Wait have you even done dt lol? Rfd?

i suggest gettin veng immediately, and follow up on what everyone else is saying with wearing lower def gear, wear a rune ranger outfit, that'll make you look ridiculously low def [being 40] and that'll attract lower def attention

Now-a-days, with all the updates etc. levels don't matter, if your against roughly the same cmb lvld apponent. These days its about the gear, thats the thing.. pking isnt like it was, today its just who is richer with gear. to win, you need good gear, which is risky whilst pking, and very expensive.

 

Along with veng, get 75 pray for the new range pray that came out (20% range bonus).

 

Get veng, for sure and get 74 Prayer, and get that prayer it will help you alot.
