What Stats For Future Staking? HELP!

Hello, well after recently getting cleaned, I've decided that I'm open to the idea of changing my stats.



Was thinking of getting these.

88 Dungeoneering with Rapier + Longsword

opt1 -99 attack 99 strength 1 def 99 hp 1 pray (89 Combat)
opt2 -80 attack 99 Strength 1 def 99 hp 1 pray (83 Combat)
opt3 -80 attack 99 Strength 80 def 99 hp 1 pray (102 Combat)

Please Pic a option or create your own build. Wanting a Pro Staking account melee.

 

Your current build (what, vls prodding didn't work for you?), or do something like 80 atk/80 str/80 def, equal melee stats are always the best for staking.

 

How could I do 80 80 80? when im 99 strength and 99 hp?

Anyways, No the build isnt working as well as I had expected.

 

Woops...well do 90 99 90 then. Or just go maxed. Remember to not train prayer though.

 

I have a maxed main, not interested in maxing, thanks for advice though.

 

What weapon have you been using? I would either go with option 2 or go 80 attack and use rapier/mage box.

 

I use currupted longsword or m javas and hatchets. Anyways back to the subject, what stats should I get.

 

To all people saying to get even stats or defence up, i always wonder if they've even staked ever, and have had over a 1b bank..ever

I think you should get 60atack first, so you can try dds staking - i've been on a 60atck/90str acc and have made like 200m ish in a few days, it may be abit slow finding stakes tho.
If this doesnt work/not fun lol get 88 dung, 80atck, get cls and rapier, keep def 1 imo.

 

Yeah Highthreshold, I completely agree with you lol, I even stats were good back in the whip staking days. Runescape has evolved therefore staking stats have evolved. Thanks for you're suggestions.

 

I would say make an acc that has 99 str, att, hp, and def. 1 everything else. and it would be level 114. but that takes a long time. I'm currently making an account like that but it takes a while, but in a month or so I'll sell it to you.

Actually it's 113 combat. It's pretty much just like having a maxed main. You're going to have to stake people with straight 99s unless you find a dumbass that doesn't look you up. Not interested in maxing combat stats, but thanks for the post

 

I've heard chaotic mauls do work. Just saying. They have slow attack speed but the damage rate on them is phenomenal. Check them out.

 

With the type of new weapons and bonuses they posesses e.g. rapier/swh/vesta longsword, def is pretty much next to useless from my expereince of being both a def nub and a pure with 1 def when it comes to rapier staking and such, boxing defs, and sol maybe lol - hvnet tried it that much..

 

Ooh, what type of account did you lose to when you melee staked? I'm making a simlar one now, what rules did you use too?
I find it hard to believe you lost to pures...

99 Strength
60 Defence
87 Dung + Rapier + CLS
99 HP
1 Pray
1 Summoning

That'll bring you out to "97" combat level.

u can keep your defence at 20 to use corrupt statius if you want though

 

Go range tank, 99 def and range, unbeatable staking.
