Do you guys thinm that Jagex is purposely dumping the economy to shut down any/or all gold selling?

No. They aren't that stupid.

They aren't going to absolutely devalue their own GP just so that gold sellers cannot make much profit. This would mean that any player who plays only legit will have an extremely hard time making money.

 

Well back when I played runescape, which was verylong ago, the only legit way to make money back then was hard fucking work. Runescape is full pf pussy ass kids who have to use a bot. It's rediculous. I mean I loved scar and how it took some of the stupid ass work out of runescape but naow, I think it's gone way too far.

 

I agree that the complexity of bots has become pretty significant. SCAR botting was amusing, but it was limited to fairly simple things like chop wood --> bank --> repeat. Now, there are bots that can do Dungeoneering, even. The economy is truly controlled by bots these days. I don't know why Jagex is re-releasing Free Trade (essentially bringing back the incentive for suicide botting), but I don't think they are trying to cripple gold selling. If anything, it will increase the gold selling market--I'm guessing the amount of money spend each month on gold sales will triple or quadruple in the next few months.

 

Why are you complaining about Botting? Better Question, why are you here? There was people still purchasing Gold back in the days. Don't blame the botters, It's not like Jagex would keep the game how it was.
