What to ALCH?

What should I alch atm? I want 99 magic from 76.

 

Battlestaves are usually good. They can make a profit usually, but you can only buy 100 every 4 hours.

I did maple longbow unstrung, but I made a tiny lost.

 

Alching is a waste of time and cash. If you want 99 mage the fast way do plank make, less proffit loss and very HIGH xp 50gp proffit loss per cast wich gives 90 xp , while alching is 53xp per cast for 100gp proffit loss, but if you still want to alch you should alch maple longbows, or if you want it the cheap way do superheat steel bars, its 75k magic xp an hour and 26k smithing xp an hour, and from lvl 43 to 99 it only costs like 1mil-1.5mil gp.

 

I do yew longs I lose money but its the easiest to get and quicker

agreed it's a waste of time to alch. Using MTA from robotzindisguise you'd make 80m getting 99 mage at a rate of 35k exp an hour. Or you could do enchant for exp which is like 70k exp an hour (I don't recommend it as gp method is great). I've gotten 99 mage twice now and made over 200m from the bot, so yes it's trustworthy. If you really feel like alching though, do the math on summoning pouches, there is usually a couple that are nearly break even alching. If you have mass amounts of gp there are tons of items that you can buy 10-100 of every four hours that are profit (such as mystic bottoms, rune full helms, etc)

 

granite crab pouches are 65 loss, pretty good seeing as they sell instantly

 

Yew longs is a good method even though you lose a bit of cash.
