How they scammed: senting a link to a rat
Proof that you were not talking to an impostor: http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=956825 as you can see he posted that his msn was [email protected] in the picture, which clearly is the same one as the screenshot bellow shows.

the picture above, shows a word document next to it, this is because I have two computer screens (monitors) and when you click print picture it takes a picture of both.
