Someone in sythe succesly recovered my account i wont name it until he autorize me.

I believe its someone doing market in here so im just posting this if someone recogonize this ip.

I know it points in the middle of the road, but it's one of the houses nearby.

 

That could literally be anyone, at any time. Comcast doesn't hand out static IP addresses unless you're a business.

It would be the same IP address as the one he logged into on Runescape.

 

Tracking IP's is a complete joke.

My IP links no where near to where i live.

If someone "recovered" your account. Then they know its information.

You must have told someone. Even without realising it.

 

I tried it, it actually pointed out 2 kilometres from where I live.

 

Tracing IPs is a joke, all you can accurately get is the city. If you trace my IP you get Buckingham Palace, so unless I'm somehow Prince William's homeboy I'd recommend a different approach

 

2 km is a pretty large distance.. especially in a big city. This is all pointless discussion, there isn't much we can do with his IP even if any of us had the proper knowledge and tools. If it's a dynamic IP (which it almost certainly is) it's probably useless by now anyway.

 

If his msn is what you said it is in that PM, why not report him as a scammer on here? His U/N is Aufzen.

 

You know, if the account was created long time ago, 2003 for example, the person who stole your account, could've just ''lucky recovered'', yea I call it like that cause you just try password which were common in those days, like dragon, runite etc and his IP might be really close to the creators IP.
Or else someone knows info of account :/

 

Were you the original creator and how many people have had the account since you got it(if you aren't the original)? If it has been owned by multiple people, chance is that 'someone' before you would have been able to get the account back somehow.

 

it links to where the provider is located. so it could be over 20 miles away in some cases.
