My exceptions include: Big L, Canibus, Tech n9ne, Nas, Cassidy.

I agree with this 100% statement is true, so is the statistics, and that it is extremely hard to find good real rap.

Who are you to say that Big L isn't real rap. That's an insult to all of rap as he was and still is the best rapper that ever lived. All of the rappers I listed are amazing, go and listen to his music first before you open that big mouth for yours, ass breath.
I list some of the most amazing rappers, who are legendary throw backs, and some asswipe comes along and insults them by saying it isn't 'real rap'.

Yeah they jump up and down on stage, but they at least have music behind them. They don't rely on it (Except maybe dragonforce). Now of course, you can pick an obsolete band before true metal came along. Kiss did help create a wave of heavy metal, but you obviously haven't seen bands like Cynic or Aghora where the music is so skilled you CANNOT do that while you are playing.
Also, the reason metalheads headbang is because the concert has so much energy it is the only way to get it out. Of course, you dont see that at rap concerts beside rap posers putting up the devil horns.
Also, smashing instruments is so "Sex Pistols" and "The Who" era. Your lack of a good researched argument makes me wonder how much crap came from your hands, or maybe your fingers were just up your ass.
True metal players keep their treasured instruments because you cant replace them. You don't see Kirk Hammett smashing his guitars, in fact when the crowd tried to steal it he almost killed someone ripping it back because it means that much to him.
