Account Randomly Locked?

Okay so i bought an account about 3 weeks ago from someone on here who is now banned for scamming =@ . Yesterday i am running around the GE and i get logged out , i then try to log back in and it tells me "Your account has been locked as we suspect it may be stolen". I am almost positive this is the original owner trying to get it back but hes denying it , What do you guys think?


Also Any Tips For Unlocking It? (I tried once but was denied)

How much of the original info do you know?

 

Apparently, if the normal IP (for example Australia) changes suddenly to a new one (say, in the UK) then they suspect that it has either been stolen or traded, so they lock it.

 

If the owner was banned for scamming its most likely they tried to recover it and failed multiple times which resulted in a lock. The best thing to do is to give it some time (couple of days to a week) then send in a new appeal. The good news to that is that the owner couldn't recover it successfully either. So good luck man.

 

If the guy is scamming you, just quit the account I guess.
He will always be able to recover it, you'll just end up in an endless 'recovery war'.

Say Gf to your account cuz most likely the owner was trying to recover it.

 

The orginal owner probally tried to recover it and when multiple people try to recover an account they lock it.

 

Use the info you bought it with, to recover it?
Or do a dispute on your payment

 

Get a refund, it's most likely the owner wanting it back.

 

It really bothers me when people assume a locked account is the result of attempted recovery scam. I've sold about 20 accounts that have been locked, now. They just get locked; it has nothing to do with recovery attempts.

If you were given full information and the info was reliable, you can attempt to use a proxy to set it up near his location? I've seen that work for unlocking accounts.

I know this, that's why I said IF the guy is trying to scam it back.
The original owner of the account is banned on sythe, so it's likely.

I know that accounts also get locked for change of passwords and ip changes etc.

 

Wow Ty for all the reply's they were very helpful i guess i will look into the whole proxy thing and give it a try. But so far it is still locked so I'm guessing the guy who sold it to me cant unlock it either.
