What will these cost after free trade update?

Mainly talking about rares since trading them will not involve in-game cash + real cash. The new update will cause them to be bought easier so let's say free trade comes back what would the price for any color Phat be? Will it rise or fall?

I think they will go down, far down. You won't have to snipe anymore.

 

I think it'll be cheaper. More rares circulating equals cheaper price.

 

I think they will be worth less, you will just be able to go to W2 and see people trading them. Like old days.

 

I can speculate that they'll be worth just as much as now ingame.
As far as $$ value for them, logically they'll be worth less on the forums because you won't need the ingame cash to trade them.

 

They'll be worth the street price, so like the amount of gold a PHAT is in $$ plus a little extra.

 

They will be worth, less.

This doesn't mean a normal person can afford it. Deflation will bring GP value down. Spending on Pking and staking will make the money go to certain culture of people who will dominate the market for a while (till their banks get fulled)

After a while people will get banned with massive amount of GPs and phats just like the old times for real life trading and this will bring prices down as well as value of the GP up.

 

I find it hard to believe that their cash value will go down. If anything it will go up. More black market users can now afford to pay for the party hat due to the removal of a GP requirement for the item. In a sense you'd be getting a 500M+ item (not just an item that was equal to your previous cash pile).
