What happened to....

Only people who have played rs for longer will know the items in question.
Remeber back in the day when you did woodcutting and mining your hatchet/pickaxe head would occasionaly fall off, i assume this was to prevent botting, but what i want to know is. Is it still obtainable? Is it tradeable?

No i dont think it is. They updated the game awhile ago so those things didnt happen anymore. They also got rid of randoms that atked you.

Sadly no rare items were created in the removal of this random. I belive they removed it when they introduced the dragon axe's as losing the head to these would be very costly.

 

When they removed the random which stopped this from occurring, they also made axe heads into normal axes.
