DDOS'ing isn't to be joked around about. Especially with this websites history of such. If anyone had a real problem they would have sent me a PM.

Received PM's about that ban = 0

 

Way to avoid the question. Can't you see through obvious jokes? And people don't always PM when they have a problem (me, for example).

 

I agree that it isn't to be joked about. He wasn't joking about it though: He was joking about the 'no' vote.

If he had been talking about DDoSing in a more serious context, or if him and another member had been discussing it in a thread I would fully support the ban; I just can't agree that some guy going "oh noez! wildy might not be coming back! quick lets ddos the site lulz" is reason enough to send him off for 30 days.

I realize I'm starting to go off topic and I apologize for this. I simply feel guilty for his ban considering you say that had I PM'd you you may have reconsidered the ban.

 

I am currently the only mod who is going * off site * and getting rid of phishers/keloggers/account recovery felons in mass. They are malicious people who prey on others, don't tell me you sympathize with them.

I'm not making my own rules, I just enforce them to the fullest. The rules have been like this for quite awhile.

 

I will take civil opinions on bans I hand out from anybody.

 

Okay, this is the part where you imply you're always right and I'm wrong. You didn't even respond to the users I specified. If you're gonna dodge all my questions, just throw a simple 'Shut up,' at my face, I promise I won't mind.

And please, I don't care how much work you do off-site. You applied for this job, so don't go around asking others to praise you. I'm pointing out your mistakes and even kindly asked you to fix them before, but it appears you're the still old arrogant guy you were when you first got mod.

 

The guy who was banned for writing a guide on how to steal? Did you read his dispute thread? There is your answer.

 

I already read the dispute. How about you debate against my reasoning first?

 

We weren't banning him as much for the intention to scam (even though it was a part of that ban) as much as how morally wrong his guide was and the fact he wasnt welcomed here anymore.

4/4 Staff members all agreed with a permanent ban. He can also request a high pardon anytime he'd like.

 

Not going to read all your posts or FireZ's posts, but I feel like I wanna say something.


Yes... Obviously I'm ban evader so kudos to the mod who bans me for easy mod logs, for I'm making 1 post and logging out.

When FireZ first was here. Donated.. I was like oh great, another Fatih. When he got sectional, not knowing him at all, I figured it wouldn't last long. After recent time, and helping him rid this site of hackers/phishers/wrong doers etc... I realize what a great attribute to the community FireZ is, and truly a great mod. Like Skele has pointed out before.


FireZ answers tons of scam reports, which in my eyes from being a mod on different forums is probably one of the most aggravating things to do. Answers a lot of ban disputes. Of course there's stuff others may be excelling in above FireZ behind the scenes or stuff he may be doing, but by going off site and purposely trying to find users breaking rules is going above and beyond his needed effort and I truly commend him for his work.

but why is it that nate gets to be rewarded. he did something wrong, knew it was wrong, became a trusted member on sythe, still knew it was wrong, and never took it off until he had to take the punishment. shame on u, personally i dont think u shud get promoted, but the sythe community loves u.
