Welcome to paypal. If you lose they will force you to pay the negative.

 

Does the message he sent not count for anything? I mean, he clearly states he will NOT dispute the payment...yet he is.

 

So what does that mean I have to do..?

 

Call paypal and harrass them about it and be like look at the note.

 

He didn't just donate to me, I sold him an account.

 

Won't make any difference. He could have used a proxy and claim that it was an unauthorized payment.

 

That bastard didn't claim it as an unauthorized payment; PayPal is holding it..

 

Thankfully I was able to recover my account now, about to see what damage was done...

Edit: Nothing was touched...? So what the fuck was the point of all this?

i had an account with all my contact info and my bank details [verified] limited with -$200. I just left it, they don't do anything. It's been ages since that happened, all they did was send me a few emails.

 

That also happened to me but Im only -$13.00.

Now that you got your account back, what happens if they award you the money??? I know for a fact 99% of ppl will say "oh I'll give it back and be done with it. When they really won't and techniquly they have then scammed...hmmmmm interesting point.

 

Hardly. I'm not scamming him if he's the one who tried to get away with a free account, but his plan backfired. Give me one reason why, if for some odd chance I win, I should give him the account back?
