Running a Game (NetBook)

I have a Dell Inspiron Mini 10, not a Mini 10v.

The game I want to install is HomeWorld 2, and I have the Disk for it, a External CD-Drive and what not.


My issue is this, I have the game installed already and when i went to run it, my screen only flashed black once and it terminated.

Then I went to the, "can you run it" website, and everything but Hardware T&L was OK.
Yet, on this same computer, I can run the game World of Warcraft, yes, WoW on my netbook with little to NO Lag from graphics.

Anybody have a fix? Or "work around"?

(Also I have a Inspiron 6000 and 1525, both Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit like this one and run the game fine.)
^ I know I can play it there, I want it on this so I can take it easier to other places like school, friends, etc. ^

 

Check your graphics setting this happens sometimes to me.

 

Not my setting, I tried that, for some reason it is being dumb.

 

To me it seems like a game problem not a hardware problem.
Try uninstalling and re-installing.

 

I tried, it one Win7Ult 32bit, and XP Pro, on the same one, both have same issue. But how can a Netbook that can play WoW, not play a game from 03?
