BGS / ZGS? Worth it?

Ok, so I currently saradomin sword on my main, but I think I'm going to get rid of it and buy a Godsword.

But before I make a mistake, I want to ask your guys opinion.

I have around 22m cash (Plus 7m for the SS) - Leaving me with around 30m...

Ok new options -
Whip + Dragon Defender?
Whip + DFS?
ZGS?
BGS?

But both of the swords are dropping in price rapidly.
So, should I wait to buy?
And which should I buy?

I tried BGS on whim, it's not as good as I thought it was...

Keep the SS and buy a Whip and get a Dragon Defender.

 

WTF when was a Dragon Defender introduced? Ha sorry haven't played in a while? Do I get it the same way as Rune defender?

And ok any other opinions?

 

dragon defender came out like a few days ago.

 

Godsword are horrible imo. Only one that is worth while is AGS.

Choatic weapons have taken over godswords.

I would just get a whip + defender/dfs.

 

like a week ago. and yea, only difference is that it seems easier to get if you can actually grab any clopses

Whip + defender is what i use
Whip + dfs is what i use if i don't wanna get hurt
i only use sgs and ags, i never liked bgs and zgs because of their lame special.

zgs is okay for pvp though

 

Well I don't PVP, just train in Sw usually.

And when do you ever want to get hurt? ha

 

Definitely use whip + dragon defender. I'd say BGS is worth it moreso than ZGS, but they're both probably not the better option for what you do.

 

I've heard rumors that the dfs is going to crash now with the release of the dragon defender so you might want to stay away. Not sure if this is true or not though.

 

Probably not; considering the defender was released on Tuesday...

 

DFS > Dragon Defender.

So it won't crash

 

I figured as much, most of the rumors I heard were before the release. I guess they were assuming that the dragon defender would be the ends all be all. Are the dfs's stats better?

 

Whip/Chaotic Rapier+DD/RD would be your best options.

 

yes dfs is still better than any defenders.

 

DFS is better than the dragon defender. Gives better defense and strength bonus.

Only downside is the cost of it.

 

Dfs actually went up 3m the past week.

 

BGS is rarely useful, ZGS is fucking worthless unless you do sara god wars, save up for sgs tbh then at least you'll have a use for it..

 

Ugh... you can't say one is better than another. Of course DFS gives better stats, it's a damn shield. Defender is meant to have some defensive stats, but also focus on improving your attack - ideal for training. DFS's main uses are bosses and dragons; it's not necessary for slaying Abyssal demons, unless you have atrocious defence/summoning... It's all on preference really.
