Thinking about 96 summoning

I'm thinking about getting 96 summoning (currently 79), yes of course for the pak yak. However my problem is that I don't know the best/easiest place to get charms is. I've heard of people bursting rock lobsters (I think) and of course water fiends. Is there still a safe spot at water fiends where you can range them?

I know its a long hall, but the pak yak is worth it in the long run. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Also, what should I make with the charms?? What should I be looking to make at what levels with which charms??

barraging rock lobs is your best bet. you can get ~300 crims an hour, but at a fairly steep price. however, this si the fastest method possible to get your summoning up. unless you have crazy lsp (100m+) then go to a corp mass and you can get 100+ blue charms an hour.

 

If you have the money, just burst at lobs. But for the safe spot, I'm not sure.

 

Nahh, unfortunately I don't have much money to work with atm. Trying to make some by doing Sorc Garden and work from there. The gear alone will take a while for me to get since I don't have much money, but it'll be a project.

Another question, how much do you figure it'll take between bursts shards and materials for the charms? And also, which pouches would be the best to make so I know what I'm aiming for in charms here.

if you wanna get 180+ charms and hour and make a profit i suggest Dharoking Waterfiends with a unicorn ... you make 300k an hour while getting 180 charms

 

what simple merchant said, my friend did this exact methon and got enough charms from 96-99 in a couple days, idk about the 300k an hour though

 

Barraging Rock Lobs worked for me when I did it. If you have a Arcane/ SOL and good mage attack, you will kill them quickly. Buy/borrow an SGS for healing and prayer and you will be able to stay there for hours. The pack yak is so worth it.

 

I'd advise Waterfiends for you if you're a little short on money. Why did you want to range them though? Doesn't seem very efficient...

 

This seems very appealing atm. I may be interested in doing this, just need to get the money for Dharoks.

I was just interested to see if there was still a spot there because I remember a while back there was a pure ranging them for charms. Was just curious

79-85: Granite Lobster
85-95: Swamp Titan
95-96: Iron Titan

 

If you have the money, definitely burst/barrage rock lobs. Second best is, like you said, waterfiends. As long as you're decently high leveled (115+) you should have no problem fighting them as long as you wear karils and pray range. Also remember to do the Familiarization minigame once a week as it gives you triple charm drops for 40 minutes, which is VERY useful at waterfiends.

 

get 99 its better, and just got apprentice i believe

 

Pack Yak s worth every penny. Deintely in PVP situations. Save yourself dem mils . plus 96 is all you need for 138 ^^

 

you might aswell get 99 that would be a great achievment plus nice cape
