Pking for money?

Is pking still one of the best ways to make money on runescape? Just wondering cause i have not pked since they changed the wildy THAT long ago, and am still wondering is that still a great way to make money if your good enough, thanks.

 

No, pking now a days doesn't get you much money since they nerfed the drop system. Merchanting is the #1 way to make cash although you need starting cash to make some good profit.

 

you can make money pking BUT you have to lose money to make money now.
Also you have to be able to win.. which now days isn't as easy as it was back then.
Everyone now days "safes" and no1 now days knows what honorpking even is.

You don't get what your opponent loses anymore.. so it's really all luck based as to if you even make money no matter how many kills you get.

Trioing usually can make on average 300k-500k a hour.

 

Pking is an absolutely awful way to get money these days. Even constantly pking expensive items like d claws won't make you money due to the drop system, EP is a pain in the ass.

If you want to make good money go to corp beast.

 

I think ill stick to botting/merchanting tbh heh

 

Unless you're very good and can guarantee you will very rarely die, then you will probably lose money pking.

 

Pking isn't that good of money unless you know how to pk good.

 

i would say pking was good at making money but its never been the best and its like a yes and no answer it depends on luck at the end of the day, but your more likely not to make money

Its pretty fun, just play it then get someone to give you a trick and you should at least make some profit. But targs + ep = bank, that is where you get the 1m+ kills. Yesterday alone in 2 kills, 1 targ 1 non targ I made 2.4, today I lost 150k, its all luck and how big of a noob the guy you are fighting is. I get a lot of people using Ring of Life on me, or teleing away, safing etc etc so I waste a lot of food because of it.

 

Im with everyone considering the loot is random there is typically a "Lottery" chance of it being profitable.

 

eh. i just pk targs. i made over 3.5m in the last 2 days and only died once and lost 400k.

 

Dds Dm targs, Once you become good at it... I made over 70 mil a week dds dming targs.

 

Pking is more for fun than it is for money making.

You're supposed to make the money, spend it on skills, then go have fun in pvp.
