my toshiba laptop sound is shit, but why

I just got a new toshiba laptop from christmas and its a satellite etc etc if you ask ill let you know.

The laptop has a touch pad where i can turn the volume up or turn it down and the other day i hit the volume to go up and let go and it just kept turning up louder and louder and wouldnt stop unless i restarted the computer.

-I restarted the computer
-it turns on, then..my sound isn't coming through the speakers, but the volume for the speakers won't turn down(its all the way up) I can only mute.

That was hard to explain, but thats it. Unless i gotta take it to a shop..was wondering if anyone knew.

 

I think there might be a connection problem? The touch pad might not be functioning correctly. It would probably be a good idea to take it to a professional.

What do you mean the sound is shit? Can't hear it very well, or it is buzzing and what not. If it's that you can't hear it very well, it is most likely because your speakers are under the laptop. Get a set of headphones too solve this problem.

 

There is obviously something wrong with either the hardware or the programming in your computer. It probably thinks that some one is holding down the volume up button when really no one is. You could probably take this to where you bought it and get it fixed.

 

Reinstal drivers, if still not works, get it to specialists to fix it for you.
