What to do?

About an hour and a half ago, I was skilling, and a guy I was talking to for about 5 minutes asked me to follow him.
He took me into an isolated area, and asked me if I wanted his account. I asked him why and he said he cba with Runescape anymore. I told him if he didn't have anyone irl to give it to, I'd take it.

So basically, he gave me the login name, the password and the bank pin. He said he'd remove the recoveries I said ok.

I signed in, and had a look. Recoveries were still there and so was the email. It's got some decent skills including 91 woodcutting and some holiday items, but I just don't know what to do.

It's been an hour and a half and he still hasn't signed into it, so I'm just wondering is it legit or is he just trying to get me to train his account and recover it later/another scam?

 

it would be best not to mess with it if YOU cannot recover it yourself. He will always be able to recover it

 

I wouldn't believe it, he will wait for you to put membership on it or train it for him then when he thinks you've done enough he will recover it. It's been done many times before.

He can always recover it. Don't waste your time.

 

If its a member go bot rune sudoku for a quick ban. He can always recover so it isn't worth having it. Just get it banned.

Banhammer falls quickly there, and you don't gain gp like you do with Sudoku (incase you fail to get the ban).

use a nice and sexy free willow chopper along with an auto talker saying your a bot ;D that'll get you banned within seconds, while training his wc :L

 

He think, that u gonna play with this that[that he gave u] train skills, earn money, then he will recover it.

 

He's either trying to get your IP on the loggin page so he can hack you or just suicide bot and get the account ban

 

What type of holiday items?

Well he still hasn't signed into it, and I was kinda thinking about him trying to get my IP and hacking me. Dunno what the chances of that are, but if I DO mess the account up, he'd probably want abit of revenge.

I was thinking about just leaving it.. It's either that or wreck it and face a risk of being hacked. Was also thinking of taking some 26k tricks off of it, but still abit of a risk.

 

Yeah he might be trying to snatch your IP, getting it banned would be hell funny xD

 

What's the point in trying to get it banned? I don't see anything to gain from doing that, and Jagex will most likely think you hacked the account and are trying to ruin it and get it banned. Should ring some bells in their end that an account logs in from an ip. located in a completely different area (most likely even a different country) than where the account is usually logged in from, and then starts doing something that's guaranteed to result in a ban.

 

You can't do much with an IP... He would gain nothing from knowing where he lives.

 

What if this guy is generally being nice highly doubtful but you never know, why dont you just leave the account for a week or 2 and see if he recovers

 

what i would do... if u feel like being a douche=).... drop every thing and delete every one...un less u think hes legit...teach him to fuck with u
