    Requesting a High Pardon

What I am requesting a pardon for?

As some of you may, or may not know I've recently banned under the assumption of self-vouching. The account that I've supposedly self-vouched was 'Depend' (http://www.sythe.org/member.php?u=192506) who is a real life friend of mine. As I've told Tyro, Depend and I have been on Sythe at the same time in the same house, and hes' been at mine and I've been at his - This is where the problem lies.

    Here are the vouches:
    1. http://www.sythe.org/showpost.php?p=4388389&postcount=10
    2. Asking to MM a trade for 'Depend' - http://gnu.sythe.org/showthread.php?p=4388519
    3. http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?p=5147974#post5147974

I have provided the staff with IRL information so they are able to check whatever they need to check.

Problem 2 - *Too many accusations of scamming?*

In my conversation with Tyro he brought up five threads in the report a scammer section:
    1. http://www.sythe.org/showpost.php?p=5569912&postcount=31
    2. http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=546668
    3. http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=543595
    4. http://sythe.org/showthread.php?p=4496292
    5. http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=529284

    1. Person claims I scammed him without proof, probably was an impostor.
2, 3, 4. Same person, this was the 3-way trade that I can explain
    5. A leecher calling me a scammer.

Tryo stated "somehow, I doubt all of these run-ins are coincidental", and "all of your bad trades (and successful impostors, who, for some reason, choose to impersonate a market mod) make me less likely to believe your story"

~Apparently, because I'm a market mod it undermines the possibility of an impostor? That is absolute garbage, you can look around the MM forums or anyone with a successful business and they'd have just as many impostors. Tyro is only stating this as he claims to only of had one impostor.

    Explaination of links 2,3,4:

This is a confusing, long trade. It was a three-way trade for World of Warcraft accounts. r0fl owned pl0x traded 'cswilson/Nikor0x' his lvl 72 Death Knight, For his lvl 80 Warlock. Wilson then trades the 72 Death Knight to me. r0fl owned pl0x's warlock got recovered, not by cswilson, and tells him that he will be recovering the death knight. This would mean that r0fl owned pl0x would be recovering MY new death knight even though I was not part of this trade; I refused. I would not let go of my new DK and r0fl owned pl0x and cswilson started to team against my and attempt to get me banned.

Jcash claiming I scammed him -
Though I had already discussed this with him via PM, I'll explain the story once more. I had purchased an account from a Sythe user who originally purchased it from Chancelere(Spelling?) and I was not told that it was Perm-Muted. After finding out that the account was perm-muted I decided to re-sell it, and Jcash had purchased it. I'm not saying that the account was not recovered, it probably was, but I'm saying that I was not the one who had recovered the account.

Now, if I'm correct here is what I'm banned for:

    1. A friend vouching for me (one of the vouches even states he is my friend, and I've supplied information to the staff) - There was a period where everyone was given time to confess for lesser consequences, if I had really self-vouched I would of posted there as Gohan did.

    2. Having too many scam reports - I don't think this is even a valid reason AT ALL.

    3. Having too many successful impostors - This is not a good reason either.

Even if you don't believe that 'Depend' is my IRL friend I've yet to understand why it's a permanent ban while other people charged with the crime of self-vouching, specifically Plznate, get off after one month - I asked this to Tyro and his response was "we don't typically unban people after a "friend" vouches from them from the same IP address 2 minutes after a trade". - I find this to be quite stupid as even though you don't believe me you would ban me for self-vouching, no? Why is my case different than any other users?

    Contributions to the Site
Though you might not believe it, I have contributed quite a lot to this website from cleaning the spam forum, catching scammers/evaders, stopping people from impostors, and MM'ing. I've MM'ed many trades, and even been on accounts with well over 2B RSGP and nothing had been touched. As Sythe's longest sectional I firmly believe that I'm considered a trusted member of the community. If you would like to contact someone who I've spent a lot of time with, please contact either Spyike, or Video.

I would also like to request that someone, other than Finn reply to this appeal/pardon as he apparently does not trust me at all as "Jcash told me that you'd scammed him but had no proof"

Lastly, I will say the same thing as I stated to the staff if my appeal is denied - I'd just like to say that if you guys don't believe me that I've had a good 4 years on Sythe, I've met a lot of interesting people, had a lot of fun, and had the experience of a life time moderating it.

If you've got any questions please contact me - [email protected]
