PVP Tricks, does item type matter?

Hey guys,

I see whenever people offer tricks they typically offer whips, furies, d boots, etc, typically items used in pvp by REAL pvp-ers. Is using real pvp items as trick items supposed to increase the odds of better drops by making Runescape think it is a real pk? Or does it not matter at all the items used when killed, eg- if I died to a player with a black mask (10), would that just be the same as dying with a common pvp item that is equal in value?

There is no 100% way to be sure but you are fairly likely to get at least some of what people are wearing/using when you kill them, so it increases your chances of at least getting what you paid for instead of an amulet of magic and 3 trout. That's just my opinion on why people do it though, I could be wrong.

 

I wouldn't pay money to get whip tricks, or other tricks of that sort.

It's unreliable.

 

I was asking for the difference between dying with a pvp item like a whip, and dying with a non pvp item that is equal value and if the drop outcome would be less favorable. not if the concept of tricking is good or not.

You forgot to answer his question while you were promoting your service.

But I think your more likely to receive higher valued loot if the person being killed has their wealth in PVP items.
