    Requesting a High Pardon:lalmvpkobe

For some reason my thread was the only one archived without a response.

Update: Their is a new rule that changes the consequences of vouching related bans. From permanent to 1 month, hopefully it helps me out.

A couple months ago I was permanently banned for a self vouch. I had a guide thread and it was going well. Then someone who wasn't very smart bought the guide and instantly started spamming my thread with extremely negative comments before I was able to help him understand the guide. The guide claimed something that didn't seem possible so his response made random people try and guess the method and state it was bs and didn't work. I was extremely upset and wanted it to stop because it was ruining my sales and the moderator I asked to verify my guide as well as other mods that perform that service were offline. I knew self vouching was against the rules so I wanted to get around it. I did not do the offense to add to my list of vouches nor did the self vouch even contain the word vouch. I just thought that if I made another account and just posted that you had to actually read the guide and some tips and examples of how the guide worked for the person and a few mild complaints about the guide, people would agree and start buying again. The statement made on the other account also said that they had spent over 100 dollars on accounts and that made it obvious it was me because they doubted someone with 1 post bought so many. Someone told a mod that it was most likely me posting and I was permanently banned after the ip matched up. I tried to appeal saying it was a review and not a vouch and it was denied. I talked to several mods and they said their was nothing they could do because anytime accounts of the same ip interact whether I thought of it as a vouch or not, warranted a perm ban.

I signed up for sythe june 2009 almost 1 month after rsbot. I had been playing runescape for almost 2 years and as soon as I figured out that botting wasn't some evil invention that automatically banned your account, I started botting and also started getting into the black market. I couldn't believe membership was so cheap and you could make money off of runescape. So I tried making money their but I was scammed silly and rsbot did little to prevent it or even ban the offender. Then I found out about sythe and completely switched over due to it being much more organized and logical and a lot bigger than rsbot at the time. I started interacting with the community and also started to make some money. Although I got scammed quite often, I learned how to avoid it and loved sythe. I had fun intelligent debates with sythe in the sfa forum. I met tons of friends I still talk to. I enjoyed selling accounts and guides. Met some really chill mods who were professional but at the same time regular people who were really cool. I even had some fun times in the spam forum and helped quite a few people with their questions. I posted my opinions on many threads and at the time of my banning I had a little over 450 posts. I didn't even realize how big sythe was in my life and how much I enjoyed the site until I made a grave mistake and got banned. My actions were selfish but not meant to be malicious against other members. But even still when I was banned I felt so bad. My decision was so stupid and immature I felt like a retard. I feel like the ban was warranted and it still serves as an important lesson to me. I never wanted to do something I felt was morally wrong, but I was tempted and tried to make an excuse and convince myself I wasn't breaking the rules. I've learned a lot, matured a great deal, and would never even think about doing something remotely wrong on sythe again. I accepted and grew from my ban, I did not ban evade and was very excited when a friend told me about High Pardons. I hope you guys accept me back and even though I want to come back extremely bad I respect your decisions and will hold my head high and be respectful even if this is declined.
