    It may just be me...
But every year 1 out of the 7 classes i take is completely pointless and the teacher has no idea what she is doing. For instance this year I have English 2 and the teacher makes us read round robin across the class room, then asks us questions, but answers them for us. Now this is almost daily and i think to myself, how is this really helping me?

Bad/unconventional teachers are something every student has to deal with all over the world. Perhaps it's because they're used to teaching younger/older grades and can't handle your class properly?

I had a history teacher that taught us nothing and our entire class (top class) had little idea of the content we needed for the exam. Thus, only four of us placed in the top 20 in the year. In perspective 19 of us were in the top 20 for Maths...

Yeah i get what you mean. Like i have had the type of teachers that give you good homework/Tests that are on topic, but they fail to teach the kids. This lady isn't even teaching us Language Arts.... We basically do random stuff that seems as if she made it up a second ago.

You should watch the movie Waiting for Superman. It's sort of like your situation about how the education system in the United States is very poor and the United States is way behind on that regard compared to other countries.

My Geometry teacher doesn't know how to teach. He gives us homework, and the next day when it is due, he gives us the answers and tells the people who didn't do it to fill them in and hand it in for full credit. He lets us take out our notes for quizzes, and gives homework passes every month.

Some teaches are just lazy. Basically, if your too lazy to copy the shit they give you, a F is deserved.

Yeah last year i had a Math teacher who gave us homework, but never lectured us on how to do it. If she did, then it was for what... 5 minutes. She was more interested in Girl Scout cookies than the math she was teaching!
