Time for Sythe to realise people DO change & Consider A 'Second Chance'

There's many more, but these are just the ones off the top of my head right now.

Mainly banned for offences they commited a very long time ago & they have proven they have changed etc. But Sythe refuses to give a second chance and see that people can & do change.

    Discuss, thanks

1 post lol? And yeah they do change, but there goes a saying. Once a scammer, always a scammer. So that is probably the case with some of those names above.

People do change, but if they have changed, and messed up in the past, they should probably come clean.

Admit to your mistakes, and people will respect it. I can't say that anyone admitting to their mistakes would go without a ban, but people who have a record of being trustworthy and honest, probably would be forgiven.

A perfect example is Kadaj, I bet that if he just admitted to his mistakes, Sythe, the admins, and the mods (at least some of them), would have forgiven him for his past mistakes.

When people have to figure it out for themselves, its too late, take responsibility for your actions or leave, we don't need you anyway.

Lemme say that DMX had no where near 5 grand in trades. A lot of his trades were in pins.

    http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=865685

Read the first few lines, he added it all up himself, and he got as far as the 118th vouch, he had over 145 vouches in total, and probably had more to add as quotes from his selling threads. He probably did 1 or 2 pin trades.

    4/118 trades used a MM. I don't think so.

Yes I do believe that some of them have changed, but rules are rules. We'd set a bad example if we unbanned them but not others.

No idea why I used the word "we" so don't ask me lol

Read through the vouches if you don't think so, and majority of the time, people say themself 'I went first'

You weren't very active in the market when he was around if you think people weren't always going first to him. He also middlemanned 3 blue partyhat trades found on his MM thread. And a few other partyhat trades.

Then there can be a system where the admins can decide who's changed.

Trying to make someone sound trusted when most of the time people went first to him it was on tons of trades that were less then $1. A few were over $1 but get serious.

Based off that vouch thread I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.

Read through the vouches again, the last ones are over $100+ too, and here's his Middleman thread with proof of the trades he middlemanned. Many Partyhat trades with the other trader going first too.

    http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=873576

Those are all more than $1 trades, stop acting too smart. Thanks.

Some people are sincerely sorry for what they've done and want to change for the better. The issue is you cannot decide who is being sincere and who is lying just so they can come back and scam.

Gee why don't you get with the conversation at hand. I was talking about his vouch thread not his MM thread. Yes there are some over $1 obviously but a good part of his "they went first to me" trades are for extremely small amounts that almost nobody would scam anyways.

Anyone who looks at that vouch thread throws out every trade under $10 because they are all BS when it comes to evaluating trust.

I have no opinion on his MM thread as I haven't evaluated it yet.

Also you join and your first post is about nothing but stuff from months ago...hmm....

Look at it like the law. We have to punish people for their crimes, if we were more lenient on thiefs, we would only see more thiefs in our societies. Ya sure some people may have a better reason for stealing than others, maybe it ment life or death, but the fact of it is we have to punish people for the crimes they commit, and it is up to our justice how those punishments are handed out. Now apply this thinking to sythe ya maybe there our some varieties in the punishments that are handed out, but we have to trust our Justice system (moderators), that they will do whats best for the site. If you don't like how the moderators handle situations here at sythe you can always leave now can't you?

Kadaj did admit to it. Or so he says.

Regardless whether a person changes after breaking a permanently bannable rule, it is negated by the fact that he did so illegally. However, I understand that in special case circumstances, a user is allowed back to the site because a staff super-majority believes that his value to the site is greater than the rule he broke. And that's understandable.
